North Quay Public Consultation event

Great Yarmouth Borough Council and their development partners will be holding a public consultation regarding the plans for the regeneration of the North Quay area. Residents, businesses and visitors are invited to take part in the North Quay Redevelopment Consultation and help shape one of the most significant regeneration projects in Great Yarmouth in a generation.
Representatives from the project team will be on hand to answer questions and listen to your feedback, which will help inform the final plans before a planning application is submitted.

The consultation event is being held in The Hive in Great Yarmouth Library, Market Place, Great Yarmouth on Saturday 21st February from 10.30am to 2.00pm.

The North Quay masterplan, led by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and supported by Levelling Up funding, will transform the 10-acre riverside site into a vibrant new destination. Plans include a major Leisure Box with an IMAX-ready cinema, around 70 outlet stores, a new hotel, homes, cafés, green riverside walks, public spaces and improved walking and cycling links connecting the town centre, railway station and Market Place.Expected to attract up to two million visitors per year, the scheme is expected to create up to 500 jobs during the construction phase, up to 600 permanent positions in retail, leisure and hospitality in the development itself, and up to 400 further jobs in the surrounding area once open.
