Join in the Great Yarmouth Christmas Lantern Parade on Saturday 9th December.

The Annual Town Centre Christmas lantern Parade returns with the festive spectacle of families and their handmade lanterns parading around the market place. Community groups and residents from across the borough will be making small and large scale paper and willow lanterns in the weeks leading up to the parade. Groups include Local Primary Schools, Scouts, Brownies and Guides.

There will also be a final chance to make a lantern on Saturday afternoon at 2pm at a free workshop at   ahead of getting ready to join the parade from 3pm at Priory1101.

The Christmas Lantern Parade will take begin from around 3.30pm on Saturday 9th December and will conclude with carol singing led by Harbour Radio in the undercover area of the new market.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Free Parking – Town Centre council car parks are free to park on all day Saturdays and Sundays until Christmas.
